This week.

Fabricated and installed an air cleaner.
Removed the exhaust and test fitted a 2-1(needs mods to fit) put the original exhaust back on with new gaskets, Repaired a heat shield, put better condition used SE mufflers on.
When the exhaust was off, I purged and bled the rear brake fluid. Cleaned the engine and frame, polished the cases.
Then installed an LED taillight bulb.

Very cool Highly Dangerous, however; I want to see pics of it out on the road.

Installed a 7”, “modern British” style headlight and brackets, removed the eyebrow in the process and mounted the speedo , tach, idiot light assembly to the triple tree on short spacers.

Changed the oil, added a touch of transmission oil til I solve that leak, and swapped out the headlight for a newfangled LED unit from online. Product review after a week or two of riding it. For now... BRIGHT!

Added 2,400 miles to my 07 Sporty

Dropped off my forks for the 06 Sporty at the Indy to get checked out to see why they are so soft and if I damaged them by bottoming them out several dozen times during the Iron Butt Rally

After loading Black Beauty for the run out of the Country to the Friday the 13th Port Dover Rally I had a four hour delay. The SuperTrapp exhaust had completely fractured through in front of the muffler, no way was Canada going to allow that kind of noise. Got a ride to storage from a friend, pulled the SuperTrapp off of Orange, along with its mount, installed on the black bike and crossed the ?River to a great weekend!

It may just be old fluid. When I changed mine (stock E type) to new AMSOIL SHOCK THERAPY Suspension Fluid #10 Medium (E type) it made a world of difference. It was bottoming out and afterwards it was very plush and never bottoms out. The fluid had 10K miles on it because that's how many miles the bike had on it, but was 18 years old and was watery, black and stunk worse than a dead skunk. I don't know if Amsoil is better than stock Harley fluid but I plan to keep using it after these results. AND I plan to change it every 10K miles or 2 years, just to be safe.
