I added 2 pin flasher relays too the four tsm signal wires and use latching buttons for switches but the stock where a lot better looking and easier to use, I was thinking in the future of going for minimal hand controls and switches and using mini momentary switches with a auto relay of some kind, flip flop or latching ?? without the expense of the badlands kind of setup, Im trying to get as much daylight around the oil tank area as i can and keep a simple uncluttered look. Has anyone used regular auto relays for this ?

A pair of 12 volt time delay (delay to off, not delay to on) relays could be used.
But what I have seen are $50 each and combined are not much smaller than a TSM, especially when flashers are added to the real estate.

There are smaller, cheaper ones, but of those I've seen, they have limited delay to off times, such as 20 seconds.

The TCM also has the advantage of 4 way flashers.
