Sorry, corrected cranking pressure.
There are a lot of ways to specify how much pressure your engine makes - static, dynamic, effective , corrected.
Most guys just give a nominal static figure which is based on the physical dimensions of the engine. But there are a lot of variables that determine what you finally end up with when the engine is turning over and even more when it's running.
I do a base line measurement using the same procedures every time so I can "estimate" what's happening or happened inside the engine in between rebuilds.
A LOT if Ironhead owners change the cams and they can have a dramatic effect on compression achieved. Generally, they shouldn't.
Funnily enough HD got the cam design pretty well right from the start. Guys want to drop in a set of cams to "go faster" and it so often leads to disappointment.

Often times that's the case. Giving up power somewhere to gain it elsewhere. There are exceptions tho as I mentioned.
Not sure about in your world...

What a concept...
Get it warmed up proper when you get your clutch fixed and then set your idle speed. Sounds like your getting it now.
