Default 2nd compression test and a ?

Ok so ready to do my 2nd compression test, leakdown test will be done on Friday after work..wrenchhead at the shop is loaning me his tester..but tried kicking it over and won't turnover but I've been noticing as I kick it it sounds like air is coming into the gas tank causing like a small rumbling or bubbling...the cap is vented but is that a normal thing ir am I just being to paranoid now

no way to force air into the tank . For that to happen the intake valve would have to be bad and the carb plugged off to actually force air back thru the carbs bowl . Plus you have bowl vent on the carb

I think you are hearing a higher vacuum pull through the carb. Do you still have the air cleaner off? Have you lowered the slide with the idle speed screw? Looked to me yesterday you had the slide so far up you would not be able to create enough vacuum. Last eve i asked if you could lower slide and try to pull fuel in on pri kicks. I think you did and now your plugs were wet with fuel, go figure?? At that pont in your starting procedure thats where I would want to be. Next I would turn the key on and open the throttle to allow the proper amount of air in to mix with all that raw fuel you just pulled in. If you have properly timed spark and good plugs, it should fire.
Sounds like if you got your plugs wet with fuel, you eng is in a good enough mechanical state to pull some vacuum and run.
The bike has started and run and sounds fairly healthy. I think you are confusing yourself with the compression test, leak down and cam cover removal. Those are all good diagnosis tools, but I dont see any question about the mechanical state of this engine. Can you post a video of you attempting to start this bike throughout your entire procedure? Your jumping all around and it is difficult to offer assistance through the keyboard. Sounds like there are alot of people here wanting to help, even some experienced aluminum guys, but the lessons keep going in circles.

If you have neg pressure in th etank, it wouldnt flow gas to the carb.
