1998 883 Not Charging
All of the testing points to a bad regulator and not the stator. Had about 35vac coming out of stator. Battery voltage is 12.5 and no more when increasing idle.
Where can I buy a good regulator aftermarket?

When you rev the engine did the AC output raise?
That how stator are tested.
If yes then check at the battery post, when reving up the engine, the voltage should go up to 14.5 volts and stop there. That how to check the regulator.
Reading your post you are doing the opposite.

Yes stator voltage increased and battery voltage stayed the same with high idle.
Ordered a new regulator on amazon for $29.00
