Default 02 1200 fit 84 frame?

I recently picked up an 02 1200 sportster motor. Its a 5 speed electric start. Im sort of a noobie on the subject this will be my first bike build... I found an 84 frame for $100. Does anyone know if that would fit for sure? without changing any motor mounts or anything like that? The guy wasnt sure what engine came out of it but i thought they made ironheads up untill like 85.
