My bike has been stolen few months back. Recently I found my bike but it is completely modified.

I think a large portion of them get parted out. My Dad had his 87 heritage soft tail in an enclosed trailer when it got stolen. It just sucked because it had belonged to my grandfather. If the insurance company ever recovers it maybe he will be notified so we can buy it back but I doubt it as it was a full custom so likely it was parted out or the vin was changed ect.

You won't have to buy it back. It will be confiscated from the current owner and given outright to you. The current owner, even if he can show that he paid for the bike in good faith, is the one that gets screwed. Ask me how I know.

Well the insurance company payed out so technically they own it if it ever gets recovered. That had to suck.
