Default aluminum oil tank build photos

I like S1 body work so I got a S1 frame off ebay and welded the back of it onto my 2001 m2 so the plastic would fit.

I built this is because I have always wanted to use the end of a mag light as an oil cap. so here it is.

I machined aluminum bungs to fit the stock rubber mounts

I made a sump in the bottom so even if there is very little oil it will be at the pick up.

it looks cool with the fender on it, helps cool the oil, holds more than the stock tank, wont puke oil out the vent and I got to finely use that old mag light as an oil cap

the one on the top is the vent. the return sprays the oil at the back of the tank at an angle to help separate the air from the the oil (at the furthest point from the pick up)
