Default Powervision Narrowband 02 sensor tuning question (Voltages)

So I've been having a great experience with tuning using the powervision on my full stage 1 '09 nightster. I'm new to EFI tuning but am determined to figure it out and and motivated to learn it all. As such, as my understanding expands, I discover new things in WinPV. I started with a fuel MOTO tune and have since auto tuned that and modified the AFR tables. I just noticed that the O2 sensor voltages are set to 700mv from Fuel moto however WinPV says to achieve 14.68 in closed loop 450mv is recommended. I just want to know that if I set a part of my open loop map to 13.4 AFR that I'm getting 13.4 not something richer. Do I have to retune the VE tables using 450mv?

If you change the CLB you should redo your tuning. You may notice the shift in your VE's. The world doesn't end if you don't but the AFR's are still offset by the CLB that was set when you did your tuning.

The difference between 700 mv and 450 mv is probably not as important as you think. There has always been much consternation about CLB's, which is probably unnecessary. Stay somewhere between 750 and 425 and it doesn't really matter. All of this is relative anyway. If you set your final AFR at 13.4 and it's actually 13.1, so what? But, it's best not to change your CLB after you have started tuning.

If you are interested in learning more basic about EFI tuning I recommend downloading and referring to TTS MasterTune's Guide. Yes, it is the competitor's product. The one thing the TTS does better than Dynojet is documentation. The concepts are all the same, some of the terminology is a little different. But, here is part of their explanation of CLB:

Quote:
When a value other than 450 mV is entered into the CLB table it will create an offset in any table controlling the AFR. The AFR offset is determined using the O2 calculator. For example, at 780 mV the AFR offset is (14.68 - 14.43) = 0.25 (richer). For all tables that show AFR, the actual value is 0.25 less than what is displayed on the table. This assumes that the VE table has been correctly calibrated.
I also keep a copy of TTS MasterTune installed because they have a couple of very useful tools (one for calculating CLB's and another for VSS values).

FYI - If you use Autotune, it automatically sets your CLB at 700.

Also, I would recommend not cross posting the same question in multiple sections of the forum as I see you posted a similar question in a different section. If you don't get a response in a day or so, feel free to bump the original post, or IM a moderator to move your original post to a potentially more appropriate forum section.

Thankyou for the info! My reason for inquiring was because the PV says it is set to 14.6 when autotuning and if it really isn't (and I may be just picky) I want it to be accurate. Glad I fought this relatively early then.
The VE tables shouldn't be THAT far off then? Maybe ~2%?

On another note, yea I realized that I did that double post but didn't know if I could delete it on my own or who the admins are. I'm pretty new to this forum and this was my first thread. Sorry for the confusion. Initially I thouht I posted it here in the first place and reposted it thinking my phone screwed it up.
