Default VIeds advice...

So I just picked up a set of the VIEDs from nightrider for my 2007 1200Cas I am wanting to improve on the factory lean settings. I wanted to have the adjustable over the static X14ieds. My 07 only has emgo slip ons with baffles and I am looking at an A/C install as well, but that's it. I am not a power hungry type that needs a full tuner, but I hear about the sporty's running hot in the rear cylinder compared to the front, so should I set the VIED's to a different setting on the rear one, or same on both? Thanks for the advice.

I set mine up with the same setting for both, been riding about 1,500 miles with no issues.

Without some way to track/monitor the impact of the changes of having different settings for front/back cylinders I would err on the side of caution and keep them the same, but this is simply an opinion

Try swapping the Vied from back to front, might be a calibration issue.

I've run X14ieds on my stock Nightster for a few years now, they definitely make it run noticeably better. No low speed surging, better throttle response and only a small increase in fuel consumption.

I ran the Xied's in my 2007 Dyna for 35,000 miles, problem free. Took em off and sold them after I did an EFI to Mikuni conversion.

Put them on a 2015 48 with V&H slip ons (quiet baffles) and K&N air filter element. Got the adj vied's on after the other mods and noticed increased torque and less throttle jerks. Over all the combination of easy mods makes for noticeable torque/power increase over stock. However it does not have the top end rush after putting in quiet baffles. The vied's are set the same for both cylinders.
