Not really. The official language of business and Government in India is English. The Country has the most English Speakers on the planet. The British Raj made sure of that.

i had a few bsa machines and while quality wasn't there, they were pretty dependable. i doubt seriously the new one would be anywhere near the old, so i would not want one. just like when indian was brought back, the old parts were used till no more so they went with after market engines till the finally got their own. but still not the same, actually put all mc in a bag and shake it up and dump it out, they are all the same, hd is no better than any, all a matter of preference.
i like older machines since they are blank canvass and practically anything can improve them, newer machines are getting like chevy, buy what i got or lump it and leave it.
but then again, old parts are far and few between.

Almost. It's the second-largest English-speaking country. The most reliable estimate is around 10% of its population or 125 million people, second only to the US and expected to quadruple in the next decade.
So for now Hindi is the most spoken language in India. They do have 22 other official languages. Just to have some spares if one fails I guess
