Default Factory Carburetors for all Sportsters

I've added a chart in the carburetor section listing serial numbers of carbs including the bike they were originally fitted to. This is all the information I have on the subject. Check it out and if you have information that's not included, you can pm me your 1. factory carb serial no., 2. Year and model Sporty it came on, and I'll include it. especially HDI/ Swiss models. http://sportsterpedia.com/doku.php/how_to:evocarb:start
Thanks!

The 'Keihin carb numbers and jetting' section for years 1988-2003 is done to all the info I have at the moment. Some of the carb numbers may be HDI or Swiss but I won't know that without more info. This section does include info for US, HDI and Swiss models as well. If your bike/ carb is not listed, please send me the info and I'll include it. This info should be in your year specific parts manual if you haven't noticed it written on your factory carb.
Thanks....Oh yeah, How does it look? Would you rather the info be in these tables or simply written out? Anything I can add or correct? This is all of our project after all and if it just sux, I'd rather fix it.

Updating this thread.
The carb section has been split up into the Ironhead http://sportsterpedia.com/doku.php/techtalk:ih:carb01 and Evo http://sportsterpedia.com/doku.php/techtalk:evo:carb01 sections respectively in the wiki searchable by bike model and year. The full list is still in the reference section http://sportsterpedia.com/doku.php/techtalk:ref:carb01. That list will be cut down to mainly a quick reference list searchable by carb number. The technical info on the carbs will be with their respective engine sections.

I am going through the EVO section while changing the format and I have a question. 2003 parts catalog shows a carb # 27495-96A for California models 883/883Hug/ 883C and 883R. However, it does not show main jets, or anything else for 883R (Cali) in the carb section which is out of the ordinary. Can anybody tell me why? Surely the 883R was sold as a California model also. Did HD just screw up a cut and paste?

According to the chart I'm working on from the parts books:
27731-04 = Domestic 1200C/R
27732-04 = Cali 1200C/R
27495-96A = Cali 883s

I'd like to hang some pics especially noting the differences in these carbs if you know them

In the carb section for the 04-06 rubber mounts, my FSM says the jets are 42/180. Dealer told me 42/165 which I found odd. carb # 27731-04 is correct. Great job on this info.

Thanks!
180/42 was confirmed through the parts manual with the part numbers for those jets. Here is the new link to the Evo carb listings http://sportsterpedia.com/doku.php/t...portster_model
I started from 2006 and went down to 1986 using both the parts catalogs and the FSMs due to errors in one or the other books. I still need to review and so does everyone else to check for errors. I also noted along the way (although I started to give up close to the end) the descrepancies I noticed within the books and found more errors and mis-representations in the parts catalogs than I did the FSMs. Here is the link to that (although it's just at the bottom of the carb listings) http://sportsterpedia.com/doku.php/t...arts_catalog_s
I am missing a few years FSMs, 95-96-97-99-03-05-06. Other than that I am finished with the list. I have added at the top of the Evo chart, an Iron Head chart also from 1957-1985 http://sportsterpedia.com/doku.php/t...l_model_number
