I was given a Colony drain plug repair kit new in package, comes with tap and new plug, has anyone have good results with this kit?

Put a nylon washer below new crush and thread sealant on plug, was able to snug it down, waited 48 hours to put oil in. Seems to be fine.

I have put pipe plugs in the drain holes.
For the assembled trans you need two pipe taps, one to start it and one to finish that is shortened so it does not hit the clutch. Take care to not tap so deep your plug hits the clutch.
