As if you needed more proof that we don't have a Court, but a social justice mechanism?
The tribes have been officially named for over 100 years. The proper decision is "Failure to assert a claim in timely fashion, the action is dismissed with prejudice".

The Tribes tended to get moved around, by force, contracts broken...it would seem the court system is no friend of indigenous people.

The Court bends over backward for anyone with 1/1024th Indian blood.
The offenders who stole, etc. Indian property have been dead for 100 years, and reservations have received hundreds of billions since then.
They just want more.

I'm not participating in this game of "culture". You can't win when the rules keep changing. It feels like a glorified Snipe Hunt. I think it would be more fun or productive to find what is "right" or "great" about someone or some business than to pick on the smallest, insignificant things and blow it all out of proportion. I don't feel the need to defend something I don't care about. There's not enough humor in it.
Should have put this thread under "the Never Ending Story" or "Gun Talk"
