ok, so quick update:

I've gotten myself an xlcr rider bar and sprocket cover to move the pegs to the xlcr location.. - and of course I didn't realize that the rider bar won't mount on the '82 (looks like the motor mount might have changed?) and neither will the sprocket cover.

I'm researching and head scratching at the moment. I'm inclined to modify the xlcr sprocket cover, and I think I can make a plate to mount the rider bar, unless you all have some BTDT wisdom for me?

I'll grab some photos tomorrow.

Glad you're keeping it stock. Parts are relatively cheap now for that year bike. Love the the green car is the pic. I had to settle for a 996. The air cooled got expensive quick.
