Default m40customcycles on eBay - rip off artist

I bought a shift lever off this seller on eBay that he had advertised as a 91-05 for XL models. I should have known it wasn't going to fit, but figured I would roll the dice.

Sure enough, the damn packaging from Drag Specialties says 91-03 on it. I file a claim for it, and he declines it and keeps saying that it fits an 05 XL.

Anyway, eBay's sided with me on the matter, but the sellers a dick.

Stay away.

Lol, hell no.

The problem is that there is an error in advertising them. Basically, 91-03 works, but the way the bolt lines up when tightening down the shift lever on the shifter shaft coming out of the primary.

The shaft is notched differently on 91-03 sportsters than on 04+ models, but I think 04-06 are the same and 07+ are different, which means the shift lever can't be tightened down unless you put a new notch in the shaft itself, and wel, I didn't want to go through that if not necessary, let alone the shifter lever would not line up correctly along the primary.

Also, the tightening bolt on 91-03 models and 04+ models are different sizes - later models are much thicker. So that adds to some of the differences.
