Ken, again thanks for sharing, sorry about the sandwich. Admittedly I’m way over due for some roadwork. Got some potato, potato sounds from the HotRod bike, been laid up over 6 years and parts due tomorrow. Should be on the road this weekend. Sadly I’ll be doing another mercy run to Florida, flying down this time.

Glad you're getting closer to the wind... That's motivation to finish up and enjoy the saddle...

There are 1000's of restaurants that serve Reuben sandwiches - I've got my work cut out for me, too... As long as my belt doesn't break...

I was out riding on July 3.

My brother and I rode along the Susquehanna River and the rolling hills of southern York County.

It was a beautiful day to exercise the Freedom we enjoy in the United States.

The only downer was my clutch developed a loose cable. The lever would move about 1/2 the way toward the grip before starting to release the clutch. So, the clutch was definitely dragging when the lever was fully pulled. I suspect the Release Bearing went bad. I'll have a check as soon as I get a chance. (ETA: Thread Here)
IT WAS THE DREADED GRENADING SPRING PLATE...

I'll be down for a few more days as I get new clutch plates (Thread Here) --- but this is an opportunity for you to CHECK OUT some of my other ride reports...

Sorry to read this. Get back on the road soon. I had a Barnett clutch put in at 25K, much easier to use & stronger, I had planned a 1200 conversion eventually.

Back On The Road! Woo Hoo!

After being down for 4 weeks, I finally put all the parts I had collected, plus the new clutch & rotor, back into KT. For details, you can check the thread I linked in the previous posts.

I took KT for a nice 100+ mile ride to make sure everything was working correctly. It was a great afternoon ride.

More pics (and info) at My Motorcycle Chronicles. ENJOY & thanks for riding along.

BTW, I added a link (in the 2022 chronicle) at the top of the page that (when clicked) will take you to the ride reports starting in June of 2022. This means you don't have to scroll down thru the first months.

Ken, so very happy for you and a bit envious. I’m almost ready for roadwork with the HotRod bike,2000”C”, and am very anxious. Going back to check your latest run.

I was riding with my brother again.

We both love riding the mountains - all the twists and turns, up and down -
switchbacks - hairpins - It's so much fun getting pushed into the seat
when you're doing a hard lean into the corner...

The day was going to be great for riding...

There were lots of riders who had the same idea!

We eventually rode across the Clark's Ferry Bridge,
but not before enjoying some other views.

Be sure to check out My Motorcycle Chronicles for more pics and info...
