Default 1993 Rear Brake Master Rebuild

I would like to rebuild the master cylinder on a 1993 rear brake. All I'm finding on line is a complete new cartridge for at least $40.00 but all I want to replace are the rubber pieces. The piston and cartridge look fine and I don't think need to be replaced.

Any ideas of where to find the rubber bits?

You might give your local Harley dealer a shout, but whether they have the parts or not is anyone’s guess. Even better if you can provide them some part numbers. At least you’d be asking them about evo parts instead of our old dinosaurs!

The parts manual lists 43282-87e which is the whole cartridge. It doesn’t detail individual seals. I might look at the local hardware store and see what they have.

I just got the whole shiter-oo for my 79 off ebay for $20.00, put your part # up with the brake rebuild kit for your year and see what comes up....good luck. Plus the piston was upgraded from plastic to aluminum.
