Default Rear suspension type?

Anyone know what these are? Are they rigid struts, or is this an actual suspension?

Looks like an actual suspension with a floating read fender to me. I see swing arm and what looks like a solid fender strut. Note the gap between the seat and fender for movement.

They do look like Fournales now that I look them up. Thanks guys. I'm still debating putting a hardtail on my bike, just trying to see all my options first.

If you don't hardtail it, that's the closest to that look I've ever seen. Floating fenders are a unique look, one that I've been thinking about.

Since you're still debating, I personally don't see the charm of a rigid except as an expression of creativity. Don't get me wrong, they can look cool as hell but it's a very limiting factor in rideability and a fine line between beautiful and WTF was he thinking.
