Father's Day
Anyone know of a bike show and swap in the Dundas, Brantford, Paris area on father's day weekend?

It looks like the CVMG has a shindig going on in Paris.
Foolow the link.

Here are some pics. The featured bike was the original Kawasaki Z1R. Nice bikes though only one in the display I thought enough of to snap a pic of.
Supercharger anyone?

Unknown tail section. Crappy pic!

Sportster tail?
And my son bought himself a bike. I had a feeling that was why he invited me but I didn't think that he was too serious. Anyway I checked it out as best I could and he bought it. Only thing is he hasn't told his mom yet. We are not together so I'm sure I will get blamed but I would rather he do it in front of me and approving the bike then him stepping out with his buddies and getting one. I'm glad I was there because the only other one he fancied was a 600cc crotch rocket that would be way too much for him. It is a 1980 Honda hawk. 400 cc's.hope his mother doesn't explode when he tells her.

Well Ed, how's your son's adventure into motorcycling going, and did his mother blow a gasket or not?

Never turned a wrench on it. Never rode it. Sat in my backyard under a cover since he bought it. Not really that into it I guess.

Wow, can't imagine walking away after finally taking the plunge like he did, did his mother ever find out? Wonder if that could have been part of that?

No surprisingly she wasn't too upset. He just never seemed to get pumped up after the buy. I told him I would help him get it ready but I wasn't going to do it all. Seemed once it took a little work he couldn't be bothered. He bought himself a car about a month ago and has a gf now so my guess is it will never get done. He should sell it and he could use the money for college. He is enrolled for September and got his apartment last week so money will get to be an issue.
