In the USA, a Ninja 1000 is priced $1k more than than a 6R.

No pure sport bikes for me. It’s too tempting to use the power. I have an old sport touring bike with panniers and fairing, if I wear it out, I’d probably get another.

All those crotch rockets are incredible packages, just too much for this old cripple. I’m of the school of thought that much more enjoyable riding a slow bike fast than a fast bike slow. Although on occasion I’ve spanked a few, Street and Track, just saying.

wow
i wish it was like that here as well
here the 1000 supersport are priced far more than a 636... depends on the model and goodies but generally speaking around and more than 5k euros...

i rode an yzf r6 and on curves at low revs (till 6 -7k) she was imho a bit lazy....
the kawa 636 instead is not designed for track only... suspension, engine, gears are thought to have fun even on mountain roads...

with a 4 cyl dohc 1000 superbike instead you can do all what you want in all decent roads... (enemy will be the cost... and your own will and self containment... since in any condition you have between your legs tons of unused potential...)

I should say that if you want a 10R KRT, or one of the H2, it’s going to cost that $5k extra. If you will settle for the regular Ninja 1000, it’s a lot of bike for the money.
