Default 2001 Sporty 1200 gasket issue

I recently picked up a basket case of a sportster for cheap (I cant resist), and i proceeded to take apart the top end because I noticed a few leaks. Long story short, I ordered the Top End gasket kit from JP Cycles. I go to put the base gasket on, and it has a "squarer" profile than the one I took off. Ive included links to pictures for reference. Do I need to order new base gaskets, or can these be modified? The Mfr. is Milwaukee V Twins. Its a 2001 883 with 1200 jugs, pistons (.020 over) and heads.

Thanks
Botz.

Nah. The important part is that all the bolt and oil holes are matching. It looks like they just didn't trim down the extra material as much as the original gasket did. Looks fine to me.

They wont sit right and line up properly as is. If I slide the one end under the tappet blocks, it fits, but then Im sure the tappet blocks will leak.

By the looks of it I'd just trim to fit, cut no smaller than the stock gaskets. Kyle
