Yes, but if I can't race it with a little recovery room, I can't be competitive.

I'm yet to learn the art of the dump. It's all out or nothing. One of the regulars said I'm not a rider I'm a monkey with controls. I can't argue. No finesse, no strategy. Bigger hammer.

300 plus passes will fix that. When you run test, put a number on your board and try to hit it. Its how I have been teaching myself.

Would love to find lighter wheel(s) however it has to be an OEM wheel in the class, I'm assuming it's OEM Sportster, or just a Harley wheel? ( might have to ask ) .

As far as stock wheels go, I'd think a wire wheel is the lightest? I've tried finding that info on the old interweb but no luck yet. Not sure I want a spoke on the rear tho.

Pretty sure mags are lighter honestly. Soft tail deuce is cheapest route cuz u can get a dot shinko hookup for it

Don't forget the tire. The further away from the axle the more the weight matters. I'd be looking for worn out but still safe tires to save weight, and money. Running an 883 I wouldn't think traction is a problem, an older, lighter tire may help with wheelspeed but I could be wrong.
