I've just joined this thread Care of Sportserdocs link... to solve my ignition with confusion.....doen that ...but ...no updates on the problem. Did the regulator and new wires etc fix the problem?

Judging by how old this thread is, it looks like his Cycle Electric regulator solved his problem and he just never got back to us on it.

His last time on the forum was in 2016. I doubt we will ever know what happened. It could have died out in front of a Semi for all we know.
That last post was in November 2016 though.
