Default Production LiveWire

Prototype LiveWire:
- single front disc
- red stripe wheels
- underslung mirrors with integral turn signals

Production LiveWire:
- dual front discs
- no red stripe on wheels
- conventional mirrors and turn signals
- longer frame?, bigger motor?, bigger battery pack? (or wishfull thinking by me?)

I like it very very much
Only HD has a bike like that planned for mass production
I think rode her will be quite exciting

Only condition to buy her though would be a decent miles range...
shall we say around 150 miles?

Yeah, range is the big issue. The KTM Freeride E-XC has a range of only 77 km; that's about 48 miles. No damn use at all!

Yeah, 150 would be great. That would get me to work and back twice with a few miles to spare. Who am I kidding, I burn up the tires and get about 100...

I have to fill my XB every 130, or so and the sportster about 120. But I tend to not have to use reserve or let the low fuel light come on.

The mirrors with the build-in indicators looked great - but you couldn‘t see a thing in them.
Bigger battery, that‘s whats to be expected. The range of the prototype was much to low.

I had a guy in the store last week who had an Emmo sport bike style bike. He told me he gets around 350 Mms on the highway and 450 in the city. That would be enough for just about anyone. Hope the Harley can at least get close.

There is also to consider time for charge
But we have to admit that the vast majority of the buyers have time to that... since her is not a touring... but a bike for fun... to go for a ride and then to recover in garage...

anyway with proper infrastructure (ergo swap standard battery when you are at fuel stations) you can do what you want with her...

this month i was on south Tyrol... and there i have seen a large amount of Tesla... a true supercar...

i stopped a owner and had a speech with him... he was pride of his car... but he admitted he had bought her only because in his region there are many fast recharge stations...

Default Battery service life/replacement

My biggest concern is the service life of the battery and replacement cost.
Like cell phones and cordless devices, the battery will eventually lose it's ability to hold a charge. I'm sure the battery will be proprietary and once you own the bike they can charge whatever they want for the replacement knowing your bike is useless without it. I'd be interested in the details of the procedure for replacing the battery as well.
