It would technically be for ‘71-‘74. These are the only true right side shift bikes with the “nosecone” style cam cover - the normal “toe” part of the shifter needs to kick out to clear the nose cone. Is that how yours is? Got a pic of it? ‘75-‘76 can be converted back to right shift and that’s how mine is.

saw one at the meet but wasn't in pristine condtion, looked the same as above, there was no spline on the inside, wasn't sure so left it there.
