Default Tire clearance

I have a no longer Super Low 2011 883L, raised with Tracker Die damper rods and bagger shocks. It needs a rear tire soon, and the selection is pitiful. I also want to kill a few RPMs...so I want to go a bit larger than the 150/60R17. I know a 150/70 fits (it's oem on the 1200T), but that selection is even worse for radials. So, my question: will a 160 or 170/70R17 tire clear the belt and swing arm on a rubber-mount Sporty?

How much clearance do you have with the 150 mm tire?

I have the 17" rear / 18" front Superlow wheels on my '17 Custom.

A 160/70-17 T31 or T32 Bridgestone will fit easily and is meant for the 4.5" wide rim. I'm running a 160/60-17 T31.

I've got a 160/70-17 Michelin Pilot Power 2CT on there with no issues. 1-1/8" belt too. Not sure if the 1" belts track further from the wheel, but I can't see them being closer.

I think I might be able to get a 170 on there, but the selection for 160/70-17s is pretty solid. Doesn't explode into abundance until you hit 180/190 width tires anyway.

Awesome. Looks like I'm going 160/70R17.
