Ya. I tried dealer first. They had no idea. They brought out a bin of jets and said I don’t know anything about carbs you look. And they had a bunch of 52 and 200+ jets I don’t want that I just wanted a 45. Via cvp I order jets, mix packing and mix screw.

Thanks sportster Paul. Giving me some hope. I’m 3 weeks out maybe 4th week will be the charm.

Interesting. Sounds like i’m not alone but historically that it’s not the norm. however also super frustrating not hearing any news over this long. I had a vacation approved this week set to work on the bike and that got f’d. Bad for the rep to not communicate.
for full transparency after the first posting of this topic CVP PM’d me asking to provide my order number and write at a specific admin email. But that also has also been left vacant of communications.

My local dealership is more interested in selling accessories. It seems like the parts guys only know how to find chrome trim. Ask them for anything mechanical, and I might as well look it up online myself.

A local motorcycle club has a shop. Those guys are knowledgeable. Prices are extremely high. I guess it factors in with going to a shop where they don't know anything about bikes.

Corporate chain shops like Cycle Gear are only for jackets, helmets, and shoes. They don't even have a parts counter. Guy working there told me, "if you look it up online, and it's on our website, we can get it here for you.". Or I can order it online, and ship it to my house. Why would I go home, look it up online, then go to the store to have the shop order it, and then go back a 3rd time to pick it up?

My harbour freight top tool box bought in Dec says it will be here the 28th of this month.

Now that is waiting.
