For sure, they are a great project and a hoot to ride. Personally I would not want a bike a single kilo heavier so big twins are out for me.
The people I ride with are properly impressed with my bike.
You've done a fine job by the sounds of it John with your extensive background with Harley's.

Well it has been a while since I last posted.
but been riding my 03 88 cubic inch sporty all year round & got 36,000km on the build. just putting new mounts on oil tank & battery holder. then in about a week will have it on dyno to do final tune. have ridden it on run in tune. it has got that much grunt, & surprisingly smooth, nice to ride on Australian coastal roads.

wow 7 pages of an 88 cu.in. build without a picture,somewhat disappointing.
