Default Tires

What’s a good tire for a Sportster 48!
These Scorchers are hard as a rock!
They ride very rough!
Thanks!

Try a set of the “American Elites, you should be happy.
What pressure do you run in your “Scorchers”?

I replaced the Scorchers after 12000 miles, still could go another 3 to get to the wear limit. Bought Pirelli MT 60 RS,same size as stock. Much softer compound, much better grip. Having made some 500 miles on them, does not seem they will last as long as the Michelin. Riding comfort much improved, and look good too.

I run 35 in both! I tried the 40 in the rear like it says and beat my spine to death!

Avon Cobra. One of the softest tires on the market. Low on miles but make up in traction. Smoothest ride I ever had. 32/40.
