Always heat up the engine before an oil change, if some oil was left in the base you might over fill your engine.
Those dinosaur engine can run quite long on empty oil.
Just start with the basic stuff before splitting your case.

Its good to know that they run for a bit without oil...this just happened to be for no more than 10 minutes but such little time can cause damage :/ Starting off rn by plugging the right oil lines to the correct outputs. Nonetheless splitting the case should be fun...something new....thanks for your input! |
