oil
Some studies suggest that additives used to create multi grade oils have issues with the additives breaking down.Best to use straight grade oil base on temps in your area.

Partial to valvoline in the Honda, but that bike (the ironhead) has been lubricating the streets with Kendall since before I was born, why mess with success I say!

Maxima V-Twin 20/50 Syn Oil Change in a Box next change, but last year i used Maxima in the motor and Mobil 1 V-twin in the Primary. I do mostly in town driving between friends houses and stores in Florida and my typical engine temps are around 190F after about a half hour to 45 mins at 55 mph, according to my dipstick gauge. I am also using a K&N wrench off filter right now but will use the one that came in the box next time.
I'm a little concerned that it seems that no one else is using this oil, but the results have been good for me and my 04 XL1200C seems to like it.

You should try Brad Penn or Penn Grade much better, they have that green oil. LOL
My bike only run on that green dyno juice.
