Almost done!

Been very busy with fabrication on the Version 2.0 kit, very excited to test this out on my Sportster and bring the kits to market. Still waiting on the turbo to show up, so now it's just going to be a waiting game.

That's the wastegate actuator, yes. Staying w/internal wastegate on the production kit.

Externally Venting, just.....haven't got there yet.

Update;

Most of the legwork of the Version 2.0 setup is finished. I already have in mind 2 or 3 tweaks I'm going to make to this before production, but they're such minor changes it's not worth writing about.

The Turbo/Carb currently mocked up on the bike are for that purpose only; I'm waiting on the Carbon Sealed turbo to show up, which I'm having done professionally from now on. All the turbo's will be VSR balanced as well, which is very important, and the reason many turbo's fail. Yes, I will have an option for a Genuine Garret turbo; you're looking at about an extra $750 or so. That's the price difference between the eBay turbo and a Genuine Garrett.

I'm making a back to back comparsion video of the old setup vs. the new. My gut instinct says it's going to be way more "punchy". I used this same turbo on the XJ650 Cafe Racer build, and on a 650cc inline four it was laggy, but good grief, did that bike hit hard as hell. Would swing to 4psi quickly, hang out for a second, and then WHAM 12psi and it took off like a scalded cat.

I'll post and update when I get a solid ride on the bike w/new turbo setup. Would like to be able to get a nice long ride in this Sunday, we'll see.

-Jimmy
