Talking Combustion Industries Sissy Bar and R9 Kustoms Duffel

During my frame-up build I decided to invest in some type of luggage that would be practical and hold up over time.

Since I was going with a "bobber" style for that bike, chopped fender struts were an automatic and since the frame was powdercoated to a satin metallic gunmetal, a matching luggage support was a no brainer.

I started off with buddy bending up some thick rod and trying my hand at welding but it just wasn't getting the look or function or mounting that I was after.

Enter Combustion Industries for the sissy bar and R9 Kustoms for the bag.

The bag has rubber backed tartan material lining the inside, heavy duty hardware and thick leather. The over the top feature was the corset for cinching it up to the sissy bar. It comes with a shoulder strap so you can take it with you on your over night trips. It's also available in black with the same heavy duty canvas. Storm covers with elastic bottoms available as well. There's a TON of space in this bag!

The sissy bar was custom made for chopped fender struts. Combustion Industries really went the extra mile to fit the bar to the inside of the fender struts, but you could order it to fit along the outside between the strut and shock bolt. The rack folds up and stays up with a set screw if you're not hauling. You can have the bar do double duty with a bag on the front and a sleeping bag or gas container strapped out back.

I chose to order mine raw but they come powdercoated if you opt for that. Both high quality items. 200% recommended for that scoot that doesn't want to have an identity crisis as a road sofa.
