Default Heads Up Display in your Helmet

Heads Up Display in your Helmet
https://livemap.info

What is the LiveMap helmet?

AUGMENTED REALITY INTERFACE - that will allow you to view a projected image instead of using cumbersome and inconvenient displays. Get information about the route and important parameters while still fully focused on the road.

3 DEVICES IN 1 HELMET - With the fully-integrated, intelligent, augmented-reality helmet, a rider only needs to think about a single device. Because it's integrated into the helmet, he's never going to leave it behind, lose it, or, worse, have it stolen, while he goes to refuel, have a coffee or smoke, while taking a break on his journey. Charging is simple, with a single device and can take place at home or en route.

(Personally, I don't like any distractions when I ride - but this might be helpful in some riding situations.)

I really don't need 'augmented reality'; actual reality will do just fine.

I'd like a "rear view mirror" function.

When on a ride from Nevada to Arizona and Utah, it was refreshing to not have to wear a helmet from hotel to restaurant. Felt like the freedom of my (long past) youth!

OTOH, helmets are handy when cold, blowing dust, etc.

As for a heads up display, zero interest.

Sold the Can-Am Ryker today (6,005 miles in < 6 months). Ready for the next adventure.

No clue. Enjoyed the helicopter lesson from wife and kids, but not practical:
1. Very expensive
2. No cargo capacity, other than under the two seats, on the Robinson R22, which may be tolerable to rent, occasionally
3. Not much fuel capacity on the Roberton R22, so round trip to ranch not a practical option
4. Not relaxing as flying a Cessna 182 (dad was a pilot)...constant attention to EVERYTHING needed

Maybe I should try an electric bicycle: No registration needed, no insurance needed, class 3 at 28 MPH could get me to kids house in ~7 minutes (3.8 miles).

How badly did we hijack this thread?
