took mine off with a hair dryer, looks better to me and never saw the need for reflectors on the side of my bike.

I admit, a bike looks cooler without them, but, let's face it, we bitch about car drivers running over us and then claiming they didn't see us, but we remove reflectors and lights off the bikes. can't have it both ways, if you do everything you can to make yourself invisible, you just might suucceed and become some moron's hood ornament.

I took mine off of the front forks only.

2004 883 custom, softail heritage handlebars, spoked dyna rear wheel, 1200c stock rear pulley, softail deluxe rear lights, dyna 10row oil cooler, shovelhead hard saddlebags with roadking air shocks. A few splashes of bling here and there.

I don't ride much at nite so I can take em or leave em. If you take em off though, don't forget to hang onto them. I know in MD you have to have them for your bike to pass inspection if you sell it.
