Default Cocktail Shaker Exhaust

Anyone mount these on upswept pipes on a swingarm sportster?
How and where did you brace the pipes and exhaust to the frame?

I am mounting a set of hand built upswept fishtails to my 09 swingarm Sporty.

Its a real bugger trying to mount the rear of the pipes that's for sure. I'm making a bracket that extends down from the rear fender strut cover (I have made a new set of fender strut covers out of angle iron so they are very solid).

I plan to join the pipes via a vertical bar and then mount to the frame via a rubber isolator. I should see if I can upload pics.

The front halves have custom mounts as well.

Swing arm go up and down, how long your exhaust gasket and spigot will last??? You have to mount to the frame on solid mount engine and to the engine on rubbermount ones.

Correct. I have a rubber mount and mounting the front 1/2's to the engine (re-using the OEM mount points with custom brackets).

For the rear support its trickier so am connecting to the frame via some rubber bushings to provide movement.

There is sweet FA information on mounting to swingarm frames as 99.99% of folks just opt out for a rigid fame to keep it simple.

I can post up some pics if anyone is interested.
