To be honest I'm so frustrated the fact it ran perfectly now nothing, a new electronic ignition didn't even enter my head

Coil test notes use the jumper. I’ve added other notes for some module tests. I took these notes about 30 years ago but I don’t usually work on the newer HD’s such as yours, but I know in the past I have followed these to the letter with good results.

IXL2Relax and SporsterDoc are well versed in elec. Perhaps they can clean up the test directions if they are unclear. Sportsterpedia have anything?

yes i have a stock electronic ignition,im away to buy a new battery later today well to exchange the brand new one i got last june as its saying fully charged on my charger but only turns my engine twice before needing to charge,ive a feeling that aint helping much
