I was looking at those front braces but in Florida losing the front fender might not be an option even if I chopped it down some. But I have really thought about those braces and if they are that good, well,,,,,,,,,,

Going down from a 48 to a 47 rear sprocket only lowers your rpm by 50rpm. 22-47 at 75mph =3750rpm. I have the belt drive conversion on my 90 and at 65mph I am reving 3300rpm and at 75 = 3950 rpm. I have no options to change gearing. I also have a fork brace( screaming eagle) fits with fender on. I sent you a PM. Roger

Ya I ordered a 46 tooth for the rear and I have a 22 tooth for the front.
4spd so I should be ok and might just have to cruise around the back streets in 3rd gear.
We will see how that works but before I put it on, I'm gonna do some calculations.
Wanted to have it so I can do it at the same time as the tire etc.

When I bought this bike the POwner painted a lot of it flat black w/grill paint seems like.

Question regarding the mags/Rims.

Did they come black like that it were they all aluminum looking?

The spokes (if you want to call it that) sides were also black and I took a Scotch-Brite pad and made the sides of the spokes to look like aluminum to break up all the black.

A fork brace and Metzler tires made it seem like a different bike. steady in the curves and no wandering over milled roads or steel grate bridges
