I thought I would keep you guys in the loop with my seat decision. I found a decent LePera that fits the advice of the XL Forum- flows pretty well, American made, and metal seat pan!

This will be attached to a 75 XLH- do I need a nose bracket that slides under the front frame mount, or a bracket that secures through that frame mount?

Tongue to slide under. Install a rear-tab too for easy on-off. (V-Twin 31-0661) Seat is pretty comfortable and well made.

ABS is good for sewage pipe, I don't understand the moco using that inferior material for their all of them cracked seat pan, even the dealers found it normal that the pan cracks.

ABS doesn't rust and is lighter and cheaper than steel.

LePera is a nice seat.
