It’s Midnight Crimson. It was really overcast when I took that pic. The color has a very, very fine gold metallic in it that really doesn’t show up unless bright light hits it. I love the color, but I do wish it was just a bit lighter to give it some contrast from the fenders.

Huh, I wouldn’t have expected any gold in that. I was thinking it was a deep red initially, but it almost looks purple too. I like it. I actually like the subtlety of the black fenders here. Sometimes the high contrast 48s with black and some other color just looks cheap.
Anyway, I might have to see if anybody around here has anything in that color to get a better look. I do wish HD would bring their old purple back though. I always liked that color.
