Ironhead How To Post Photos

mine looks as always.

that said.. Photobucket tries to improve their site several times a year.
they still think the majority of the pictures is seen on site, s they want to make a nice site. and fail in doing that..

each major change they make will change your PB account's look and feel, but they will not ask you if it's okay to change the look and feel of your account.

they will add some checkbox tucked somewhere in a deep hidden menu where you can undo the stupid changes they made..

i use two accounts and they both change from time to time, i log in again and search for checkboxes to change it back

I moved this question to the forum post I just made so I would not garbage up the sticky anymore.

I first noticed the change when I clicked on other members pics and was directed to Photobucket and the pics were tiny postage stamp sized images.
I thought at the time, what is this person doing using pics like this?
But later I connected to my account and found the same thing on any pics below the main album level. Only tiny postage stamps were there.

PB answered me with a non-answer when I tried to contact them. No help at all.
I wonder if there is a better site to use?
Know of any?

it's called an avatar

at the top of the page click "user CP"

then in the list on the left side of the screen select "edit avatar"

then i think you click 'save' at the bottom and bob's your uncle

This correct, however you may need to re size it depending on the size of the picture...you are allotted only a small amount of kilobyte space for your avatar.

I've done some searching but I still haven't found how to put pics into my photo gallery. I can see my gallery, but don't see anyway to upload to it. Can anyone help?

I use Photobucket myself.
First you have to join. It is free.
Then load photos into folders on Photobucket.

At this point you can now insert photos into your posts here on the forum.
The following is how you do it......



The exercise goes like this:
Write your post.
Where you want to insert a pic, go to Photobucket and log in.
Select 'Albums' then select 'All Albums' if you have more that one folder.

Follow all of the above steps I have listed.

NOTE, this list of steps is an older version....still good except for step 5 (Left click the choice....)
It now should read: Find IMC selection and left click that choice.
The bar should light up blue.
Next right click the blue bar and select 'Copy'

Then go back to the forum post you are doing and place the cursor where you want the pic to be and right click.
Then click 'Paste' and the link shows up in the post.
To see the actual pic you click 'Preview' on the bottom of the page and you will see your pic inserted in your post.

Pinion, thanks for the info. I'll probably put some pics in my posts in the future but I was trying to put pics in my gallery, not my posts.

Sorry about that.
I read a post somewhere saying 'Gallery Photos' are only available to 'Paying Members' of the forum.
I am not a paying member myself and have no pics in my gallery so I cannot help with that subject.
