haha Definitely not giving that advice yet

He made 3 passes on the street bike. His first time ever riding it was to the staging lanes. He took it slow and easy, I told him this bike is a different animal and it will toss you off in a split second. 10.0s i think with a few missed gears.

Went racing.. Lost first rd both days...

Day 1: Red as all.... Not used to leaving second... Maybe 4x since I started racing... We started learning on Sat...

Day 2: committed to the bike wanting to leave on the back tire... Leaving at 6k... Front tire 5 to 10 inches in the air... And pulled these 2 P.B.s outta my butt...

I ran out of rpm in the traps.. Crossing the line at 72 to 7300 and limiter set to 7600. 124 ish mph on limiter. Going down to a 46 tooth rear... Not bad for a baby 1250....

Thanks. Its been a long road to get 10.50s. This is still the reconditioned Impact I bought from 1250Josh here in mass... I had to put new rings and cylinders last year. Did a XR1200 crank as well as .560 cams... This year I got a shorter Swingarm from Jcro that allowed me to put the S3 rear on it finally. Deuce swingarm vs this one loaded was 28+ lbs diff... 11 or so of that came off the rear wheel in rotating mass... We were 685lbs full of fuel on the .56 and. .54 passes..

What a clusterfxxk today at the track! Low bike count too. Huge oil down that ended up shutting us down. Only 3 in trophy bike. I got the buy rd 1 and raced max in the finals. He barely broke out and gave it to me. Running 7.50s @93 with the street bike. 50 bucks and 25 runner up so we got our money back haha

Only 5 in money bike, max out first rd sleeping hard. Ran a 9.82 on a 9.80 dial, but his light lost it. I made it to the finals, but they shut us down because of the oil down. We split points and the pot on it. Funny thing, i ran on the oil side 3 times and didn’t spin so they let us run even though points and money was split. I lost, but didn’t spin.

Seriously Contemplating not sponsoring the track until or when or if they they ever get their stuff together a little bit. Ozark mountain super shifters where there and pissed af, as i would be. They got hosed by the tracks less than mediocre management.

No pics, no vids, but squeezed this pass off in qualifying

I was thrilled considering DA was 4200’
Probably going to wait for the air to clean up for the 1 or 2 outings we’ll hit before the season is over. Passed on AHDRA Sturgis race.

Long bike pulled a 240 rear and 235 compression test today, pretty impressed considering its the 3rd season for the 1275 and untouched head maintenance.

Time to get next years plan rolling soon for the freshen up and look forward to a better year. Although, anytime you’re at the strip and go home safe is a great day, we had a blast.
