I've got the Kuryakyn knurled flushmount on my Superlow and love it.

So they look cool. if you never get caught in the rain then great. I have found on my old chopper that with the flush mount cap. there is a lower than flush O-ring that seals and there is always a little bit of water that you can not see so that when you unscrew your cap the water drops in the fuel tank and allows the water to accumulate in the lower portion of your tank. So when popping up the cap blow the water out prior to unscrewing the cap. Owned it for 25 years so kinda tried a few different tricks.

I've read people having leaking issues, other people not having any issues at all. I read the DK customs user talking about simply bending or pinching the venting/overflowing tube...

Any experience? Anyone who has pictures of having bent or trimmer the tube?

Thank you guys!

I've been running one of these since 2008.

The only issue I had was the gasket that came with it didn't work well. I had to take a stock Harley gasket and cut it in half. No problems since.

I have the cheap one from Amazon. Needed to file the inside groove areas of the pop -up cap just a little bit. ( not the main housing that screws into fuel tank ) As it was a bit tight in function, works fine over the last 18months or so since being fitted.

Zero leaks, easy to use, great looking. That's enough reason for me. I love mine.
