retrieving security pin
Hello all. I managed to lose my fob and do not know the pin. I bought the bike used and did not get the pin from the previous owner. I have tried several possible combinations - no luck. I am told by local dealer that there is now for them to retrieve the pin and that the security module would need to be replaced. I was able to locate 2 used fobs (that I plan to have programed to the bike - when I get it running). Any suggestions, regarding other possible options will be greatly appreciated. Sorry, I forgot to add - it's a 2009 1200 custom. TIA

I have not done this, but it looks familiar. Lots of similar videos on YT. Let us know if it works.

Brad - thanks for the info. However, I believe that an active FOB needs to be present, to perform both of those procedures. unfortunately, mine is somewhere along a road. Thanks.
