Thanks, rejeanprimeau, very much for your vote of confidence.
As I get more and more organized and set up to do mechanical surgery in my garage it becomes a stronger possibility for me. Unless I have a literal operating room set up that's clean, organized and I have all the tools, manuals and supplies I need in advance I won't attempt it.
But the good news is that I have been taking steps towards that goal every week. I may reach that point before the end of the year and then I may just go for it. I just want to make sure that I have everything in place to bolster success.
I can follow instruction very well. If every step is broken down for me, I think I "could" do it. I will start studying all the videos and any other instruction sets that are available to do the job in advance of actually starting it.
Once I feel well informed like I know what I have to do and all the steps, I think I would go for it.
If I reach that point, I will be posting daily here to reach out to the resident experts for tech support.
Because of the brotherhood here this is the greatest forum on the internet.
My sincere thanks for all the support.
Best regards,
FiftySixer

Ola Brooder!
Hey Steve9 - how are you brother? Well, I hope.
Based on our communication I think you are on point brother. As far as being opinionated, believe me I am as well.
I'm in Miami Springs literally across the street on the North side from the Miami Airport.
Miami Springs is really a very special town. Clean, quiet and very well policed. A truly wonderful place to live and a virtual oasis.
It's even nice to tool around on the bike just in town. I can at least satisfy my itch to ride that way until I get some "me time" on a Sunday morning.
Early Sunday mornings are the best time to ride down here. It's quiet and not many people are on the road until almost 10:30 - 11:00 am. Hialeah doesn't wake up till 11:00 am lol!
Thats my hole shot so to speak. I can shoot up 27 from Miami Springs and jump on Alligator Alley to trip out to the west coast of Florida.
I like Port Charlotte and North Port. Every Sunday Bert's Black Widow HD puts on a live band, free beer and there's also food like burgers and dogs to eat.
The locals never miss it. It's become a tradition out there! Then there are easily 20 biker friendly watering holes within a few miles all over the place over there.
I may end up moving out there at some point but probably not for at least five or six more years. But my wife seems to be acclimating slowly to Miami Springs. So right now, it's a guess and a pipe dream.
Be well and stay d=safe brother.

Changes changes
Steve 9,
Hunters is long gone. There’s a subway and a Chinese restaurant in that space now.
The owner of the Hurricane just passed away. They were on north poinciana on the right side just before Romans pizza and the quick mart.
Brysons is still going strong.
Man that was a walk down memory lane.
