Hello everyone,

Iv’e been lurking here for a few years- in the fall of 2020 I bought a 1998 Sportster 1200S off my buddy. Iv’e had a few Japanese bikes prior but had taken a break from riding for a few years after an accident.

Rode the Sportster until it got real cold and started snowing here- rented a small garage in my neighborhood and tore my bike down and tried to make it my own over the winter.

This forum along with Sportsterpedia, YouTube and my shop manual among other resources and a few local folks have been massively helpful in the process of learning.

Right now I am apprenticing and helping out at a tattoo shop in Baltimore. You can check out the shop here! I’ll be posting my work and progress @ntchampion on Instagram.

In my free time I enjoy drawing and painting, cooking, wrenching on and riding my bike and hanging out with my friends and family. I’m 9 years sober this December and I’ve never had a legal drink.
