Given that Sporties (and Streets) make up almost 24% of their sales I'd doubt they are going away. However a change most likely is coming due to the pending emissions requirements and the fact that the frame is 14 years old. And I agree that the move to York is the best time to retool the line.

Whether we see something with a mono shock or something similar to what they make now is anyone's guess, but I would not be surprised to see something substantially different than what they are selling now

(I wonder if it is something different if I can convince them to loan me one for the Iron Butt Rally to "test" it???)

I thought it was just London. I'm pretty sure this is the article I was thinking of.

It says all of Britain by 2040.

And I never said it was now, I said they were passing laws.

Still my point is the same, electric vehicles are the future because our legislators are mandating it.

If, and I hope it's a big IF, HD does drop the Sportster line ,AS WE KNOW IT, the only ones missing out on the Sportster culture will be the future generations. The Sporty is one of the easiest motorcycles to modify, from choppers to cafe racers, 70's style cruisers to lightweight Baggers. and most of the mods can be done in your own backyard without an unreal amount of cash. The EPA will probably be the demise of the air-cooled Sportster but the government relaxed EPA regulations again, so who knows if or when that will happen.

Most likely it will be so... except military... all gas reserves will be stored for them... expecially in Countries who do not master nuclear power facilities

None technically, they kept a charger connected with a 800 mile extension cord.
