That 500 mile wait is brutal but worth it. I keep looking at your bike and wondering why yours seems to have such a smaller bundle of wires dropping down at the rear of the engine (from the back bone down). My bundle is huge and yours looks fairly small. Did you re-wire and re-route some of the wiring? Mines just a basic wire tuck. Love the paint, REALLY makes me want to get custom paint. Your running 4 over fork tubes?

I rewired this thing a few years back. Took out most of the connectors off that sit under the tank. Bundled all the wires together and re routed them to sit under the tank them come out on the left side and into the battery compartment. Moved the computer into the battery area as well. I’ll try to get some pics up for ya.

Yeah I’m running TC Bros 4 over forks. Will probably switch to 6 over next year. Love them. I recommend getting custom paint on the tank. Sets it apart big time.

I hear you as soon as I finish my 120hp build it going hard to keep it in the rpm range for break in. My Electra glide I had to keep under 3k for the first 500. It wasn’t that bad Cause that was like 70-75 mph in 6th gear.

Whelp folks she's done. Finished up my 500 mile break in this morning then changed out the oil & filter (primary too). I went with Lucas 20W-50W, 2 quarts in the oil tank and one in the primary. Levels look good. After going out for a ride to warm her up and check levels, she was sitting at just a little over (1/4") the fill line. I had some blow-by issues during break in so I'm gonna keep the oil level there. Also cleaned and lubed the chain.

I do plan on finding a good 2-1 exhaust before I get a dyno tune. These Lowbrow shotgun pipes look cool AF, sound awesome, but are ridiculously loud. Any recommendations on a good looking 2-1 pipe???

I also plan on installing Magnum Shielding throttle cables. Mine are toast. Working on getting this old Figure Machine air cleaner to vent externally too. DK customs says they may be able to send me some stuff to make it work.

Overall, extremely happy. No leaks, no issues so far. Power is awesome. I'll update the thread as I'm able to dig into her more and get some upper level RPM tuning done.

Here she is yesterday out on the Gulf working on those break in miles!

I like my V&H stainless upsweep 2-1. If the rubber from a boot or shoe accidentally melts on the head pipe near the brake pedal, it can be cleaned up and restored very easily with a Scotchbrite pad.
