I do everything meself, either directly like this slinger or via drawings that somebody else interprets and machines for me...

I had 2 pairs of these front plates made in hard aluminium, probably 20 years ago... They are 1/4" thick, so the plate on the timing side is slightly milled out outside where they meet the frame... Plus stainless steel thicker spacers to spread the tightening load.

I remember mrmom9r offering the aluminum front motor mount plates awhile back.i wanted a pair but i'm running an oil filter on the left one.so that complicates things.

He is an amazing fabricator. I just drilled the hell out of a set of stockers in an effort to lose a fraction of an ounce of weight. Thanks for the info.
